Crazy for Aprons, Free Sentiments & Freebie Links!!!

I was browsing through some of my craft magazines and I came across Papercraft Inspirations Issue 96 which featured ideas for apron cards. Got me inspired so I made some Hobby Apron Cards. You can download the Apron template here. From the template, I made mine a little different, instead of the Side Fold, I made mine Top Fold. Written also some faux stitchings on the pocket.
Due to my limited time, I'll be posting one apron per post including the links and a free sentiment. Here's the first one:

CDAC Progressive Challenge #2

It's Back to School theme for CDAC Freebie Progressive Challenge #2. The challenge details can be found here. Speaking of school, we're also having our highschool reunion this coming Saturday. Already excited to see my former classmates and batchmates. I'm handling the finance committee so I've been busy collecting and issuing funds for the event. Luckily though, I was able to make a card for the challenge. I used a Tortagialla image and made a backpack-shaped card. Here's my card:
I made a simple square tag that looks like a piece of writing paper and attached with a mini circular ring. The font I used for my sentiment is School Script Dashed.

Mickey Mouse Invitation

I love making invitations for family and friends especially if they want a particular design to go with the theme's party and can't find one that exactly suit their preferences. One request from my cousin-in-law, Sweet, was a Mickey Mouse invitation for her son's 1st birthday with the shape of Mickey's head. Using my circle cutter, I designed the card with one big circle for the face and 2 smaller ones for the ears.
The design was a bit tricky on the inside. I made a pop-up insert which includes my nephew's face along with Mickey and friends. I had to ask the help of my daughter, Athena for the digital techniques using Photoshop. Using clip art images of Disney babies and a photo of my nephew, we were able to put them all together. I could say we were able to come up with a good design because Sweet and Allan were satisfied with the end result. So here's my Mickey Mouse Invitation:

Cupcake cards

Last year my daughter asked me to help her make a few cupcake-themed cards for her classmates. These are some of the cards we made in two sizes.
