CDAC Progressive Challenge #5-Entry 1
My first entry for the CDAC Progressive Challenge is a freebie image called" Christmas Bunny" by Phooka. The theme for the 5th round is Festive and Fancy. I was hoping to link this the first week using cool colors but unluckily my camera wasn't working at its best.
I used Martha Stewart's Punch Around the Page for my card and cut some baubbles and sentiment from a Christmas paper I have.

It's the first time I made a vintage card and I hope I did justice to Victoria. The wooden frame I used is a freebie from Just Something I Made. The steampunk hat is from Scraps Dimensions but I added some feathers and metal accent. Here's my card:

Steampunk Amelia & Shaker Clock
The celebration continues for the 500 followers of Sassy Studio Design Paper Craft Planet Group! For the Progressive Challenge #2, the challenge is to create a project using Steampunk Amelia plus a clock(s) and/or gears.
For my card, I used a vintage clock image from Graphics Fairy and made my own shaker clock. I glued an empty round of small scotch tape on top of the clock image and put some sequins and metal gears. For the cover, I punched a circle a bit bigger than the clock, made a round hole at the center to look like a ring leaving 1/4 inch border to get a view of the clock underneath, covered with transparency and glued this on top of the clock face.

Hope Butterfly at D2D
It's the first week of October so a free image is available for everyone who wishes to join the Progressive Challenge over at Delightful Inspiration. See the challenge rules here. The "Hope Butterfly" image is in support of the Hope 2011 Cancer Awareness. Please visit Designed2 Delight digital stamps store for more whimsical and cute images.
For my card, I stamped different pink swirl designs on a white glittered board and embossed them. The stamps are two scoops/swirlie designs from Basic Grey. I then colored the butterfly image in two sizes and glued them on leaving the upper wings unattached.

Inside the card, I punched again some spiders from the background paper and this time I added strings for hanging web effects. I used double-sided foam tape for dimension. The sentiment is a freebie from The Crafty Nomad.

I made some stitchings on the dotted holes that comes with the puncher design with black thread. I matched it with a black sheer dotted ribbon and added a spider embellishment at the center using a small circle punch.
